Les Brown et Red ont été produites à Tychy (Pologne) à destination exclusive du marché d'Europe de l'Ouest (Italie, Allemagne).(600K/650K/650EK) et Inwalidów (600I/650I/650EI - pour handicapés).
Les Silver et Black à Cassino en Italie.

A l'époque, le parechoc plastique, c'était le progrès, ce n'était pas des versions économiques mais luxe (alternateur, appuie-tête reglables, etc, plein de trucs qui sont par la suite devenu courant sur les 126p au fil des années)

... un évenement qui ne peu passer inaperçu sur ce forum, en effet il y a 50 ans naissait la Fiat 126 ! 

En photo l'unique prototype qui a survecu et qui fut réalisé dans l'usine Fiat de Cassino, il est désormais  conservé par FCA Heritage dans le fameux Héritage Hub ... tout est expliqué ici :

50 anni fa, al Salone di Torino del 1972, viene presentata l'erede della 500: la Fiat 126 nasce già con una missione ardua, perpetuare il successo dell’iconica vettura amata dal grande pubblico.
La 126 è caratterizzata da linee nette e squadrate e si ispira alla compattezza del progetto Fiat City Taxi di Pio Manzù del 1968. Per produrre la nuova utilitaria Fiat, viene ultimato nel 1972 lo stabilimento di Cassino: in un secondo momento la produzione viene avviata in altri stabilimenti italiani e fino all’inizio del 2001 anche in Polonia, dove diventa così popolare che dal 1997 viene affettuosamente ribattezzata Maluch (piccola in polacco).​
Il modello in nostro possesso non è una 126 come tutte le altre: questo esemplare rosso è l'unico dei prototipi sopravvissuti realizzati a Cassino. Nel corso degli anni la vettura è stata oggetto di molteplici test di perfezionamento che la rendono dunque differente in alcuni aspetti rispetto alle successive vetture di produzione.​

50 years ago, at the 1972 Turin Motor Show, the heir to the 500 was presented: the Fiat 126 was already born with the hard task to perpetuate the success of the iconic car loved by all.​
The 126 is characterized by clear and square lines and is inspired by the compactness of the Fiat City Taxi project by Pio Manzù from 1968. To produce the new model, the Cassino plant was completed in 1972: later, other Italian plants were involved too. The 126 became particularly popular in Poland, where it was renamed Maluch. (small in Polish) and kept in production to up to the beginning of 2001.​
Our model is not a 126 like all the others: this red 126 is the only surviving prototype built in the Cassino plant. Over the years, the car has undergone multiple refinement tests which make it different from subsequent production cars.​
It was exhibited at the entrance to the plant and restored with a conservative approach: it is now on display at Heritage Hub and you can find it on display at the Heritage stand during the Automotoretrò motor show from April 28th to May 1st. Find out the whole story https://bit.ly/fiat-126-ENG
